I'm speaking specifically about stuffed squeaky toys, which are our dogs favorites. They really don't care for the hard rubber toys. Our dog Roxy seems to have an inherent ability to find the weakest point in any toy. She rips them apart and spreads the stuffing all over the house and yard. I'm sick and tired of spending $5 to $10 on something that lasts mere minutes. I decided to make my own toys. As a true test of my craftsmanship, the first toy I made for her last over a month. When she finally breached the interior of the toy, it was through the fabric itself as the seam still held strong.

Monetarily, I cannot afford to purchase every toy on the market. Instead, I will be writing to different toy companies and requesting samples of their toys. Each toy I receive will be reviewed on this blog. Each "quality" toy received will also be promoted on my social media sites such as Instagram and Facebook. Additionally, I will set aside a section for companies who do not reply or refuse to send samples. Let the quest begin! Stay tuned for more! The next blog post will contain a list of the companies to which letters have been sent.
